Last night I spent over an hour creating a post commenting on a couple of celebrities.

The first was about an over-photoshopped pic of Courtney Love, and the second was having a bit of a laugh at Justin Bieber.

I guess I knew it wasn't the most positive post I've written, because I passed my laptop to Mr K and asked him to read the post and tell me if I sounded 'bitchy'.

He read it and said, "Nah, it's ok."

But, of course, you can tell when someone's not convinced, so I pressed him and he asked me if I really wanted to write celebrity gossip on my blog?

At first I said, why not? This blog is about me, the stuff I like, the things I think and this is what I think about these photos of Love and Bieber.

He just said "Celebrity gossip is just so …. judgemental."

And I knew he was right.

I don't know Courtney Love. Why should I judge her photo-shopped picture? In fact, there are alot of things I admire about her. Why not write about those things instead?

And Justin? Awww. He's a 16 year old kid. With about 5 minutes of life experience. He's having ridiculously more fun than I did at 16, and I guess I'd like him better as a dorky photo-posing kid than the micro-nano-managed mini 30 year old that he could be.

So I didn't publish it.

And when I heard about Perez Hilton's vile stunt with an upskirt shot of Miley Cyrus this morning, I was so grateful that I have Mr K to show me that I want my blog to be as far from the ilk of Hilton's as it can possibly be.
