If you believe some women's magazines, you can tell alot about a woman by the contents of her handbag. Posting the contents of your handbag is a common occurrence in blogland, and I'm always curious to see what other women carry around with them day to day.

Naturally, we all carry things like wallet, phone, sunnies, etc. but it's the other paraphenalia that we feel the need to keep close at hand which are the things, I think, that reveal a little about our personalities.

Mr K says I'm the most organised person he knows, and perhaps that's because I've worked out exactly what to carry so I'm never caught out. Got a blister? I have bandaids. No soap in a public loo? I carry paper soap. Hangnail catching on your clothes? Baby nailclippers in every handbag. Forgot to mark your calendar? They don't call them 'purse packs' for nothing.

So, here is what I have with me at the moment…

* Coles receipt

* Some Tasmanian flower essence, Snowberry, I think

* Stayfree ultrathin pad

* My keys

* Ego skincream – best handcream ever

* Silver faux-leather coin purse

* El cheapo sunnies for driving – old ones got stolen from car, hence el cheapo driving sunnies from now on

* Cheeki metal water bottle – no more warm, plastic-tasting water in my car!

* My fabulous Belinda Pieris embroidered leather wallet

* Packet of tissues.

But that's not all…

* Packet of paper soap

* Wad of loyalty cards (I rarely see a loyalty program I don't like!)

* Hair tie, Blistex tinted lipbalm, Baby nailclippers

* Pens, Chewing gum, Pink mesh shopping bag (see previous post)

* Pill box, Bandaids, Nailpolish remover pads (I swatch alot of nailpolish when I'm out and about)

* iPod earphones, USB stick, Pair of earrings

Oh, of course I carry my trusty little cybershot camera with me at all times.

Perhaps it comes as no surprise to learn that my handbag weighs around 1.8 kilos. Think I'd better see mum for more regular Bowen treatments so I don't become a lopsided hunchback.
